England - Peak District to Yorkshire Dales

This is the back of Lyme Park House. Lyme's history can be traced as far back as 1346, when the estate was first gifted to Sir Thomas Danyers by Edward III, in gratitude for his service to the Black Prince. It passed to his daughter who married into the Legh family and it passed through the generations until the 1940s.
